The high-pressure system is set to persist and, together with very warm air masses, will bring midsummer conditions.

The sun is shining across the region. A few cumulus clouds will form in the afternoon, but the likelihood of thunderstorms will only increase in some areas.

It’s set to get hot again, with maximum temperatures ranging from 33° in Bruneck to 36° in Bozen.

The next evolution

Saturday will bring no significant change, with plenty of sunshine and temperatures remaining above average. Sunday will also be sunny, with isolated heat-related thunderstorms in the afternoon and evening. Temperatures will rise slightly further. Monday will start off sunny, but thunderstorms are likely to become more frequent in the afternoon. Temperatures will drop slightly. On Tuesday, there will be widespread sunshine in the morning, whilst a few thunderstorms are possible in the afternoon.
